I think we got this out just in time. My graphics card on the dev pc just died. It was SOA when I bought it. An XFX GeForce 8800GTX card. Cost was around a monkey IIRC. It built the line as you see it. Now ordered another NVidia card which outperforms it for £39. Happy days!!!

Here is another great Video from Thomas, who is one of the developers of JT's Metropolitan Route. He very kindly hosted a live stream on JT's Twitch TV channel just before our route went live last September. This scenario was built by Yawwie and won the Scenario of the month ( afaic ) for December 2019.
Superb use of AI and sensible DLC, not too onerous, most of you will have the Portsmouth- Waterloo route , I'm sure.
Links to the scenario are on the description page. Go grab.

Another new one posted by Qwerty Afro, who is a real train driver on the GWR. You can find it here :
He is a bit late to the party, and a shame he didn't init the train properly, but hey, it is not a total deal breaker to be honest. I did post in his comments that it is a bug with a workaround that we just have to live with.

Really? I did not know that about him and the fact that the bug is you see the rain disappearing but no wiper so is it magic?

The bug is that if the train doesn't init properly , none of the animations in the cab work. That includes, of course the wiper. TS still thinks the wiper IS working, so it's not magic at all. Workaround is to hit ESC and reload the scenario , which only takes a few seconds. You will soon recognize a good init, by seeing the levers on the control desk move to shutdown and the green/orange/red mini pilot lights illuminating on the desk. Refer to the C69 section of the VDL Stocks Operator's Manual for more info.

Hi guys I just wanted to say thank you for creating this amazing route. I am simply blown away with how good it looks especially when playing in 4K. I have made a video, I hope you enjoy. I cannot wait for phase 3 to be released. Keep up the great work👍🏼

Just went and watched some of it. I'll get to the rest later today. Nicely done. There's some interesting camera angles and you use them to show surroundings and "tell the story" of the run very well. Excellent driving too!

I'd forgotten how much fun we had doing these T/Op Man scenarios, this is a nice run with excellent use of camera views and some good T/Op man driving.
The only mild criticism being that you ran 3 minutes late on the Wimbledon branch and once across the river you could have run to line speed and made some time up. 3 minutes lost is a service on the Wimbledon branch lost for that day. If everyone did that TfL would get on the DMT's back.
Apart from that your computer was running the route very smoothly and I never saw one stutter. Thank you for the kind comments on the route too. Much appreciated. Nice job.
