Could someone help me out... I will apologise in advance if this been discussed elsewhere. I've downloaded this Underground route and I've installed via package manager and followed 4 steps instructions on "readme" and I've cleared blueprint cache and still have no luck of seeing the route or trains. I've been watching the videos of this route and it looks amazing! thank you!

I've downloaded this Underground route and I've installed via package manager and followed 4 steps instructions on "readme" and I've cleared blueprint cache and still have no luck of seeing the route or trains. I've been watching the videos of this route and it looks amazing! thank you! Firstly which kit did you download ? Did you install the Easy Install version, or the older original install which has now been taken down. That was a four step install IIRC. The Easy Install is basically a two step install. Its on the General forum in a sticky thread of its own. You'll need to uninstall everything you've put in via the Package Manager first. Then install the Easy version via PM and the hotfix after that ( one UKTS file RWP ) You should now be able to find the District Route in the left list of your package manager. So now you have the route and stock all installed, but unless you also have the Isle of Wight and London to Brighton Plus the original Great Western Paddington to Oxford route ( All available on Steam ) you won't see the route in your Standard Scenario listing, as they are required dependencies It won't show up in Quick Drive, or Career Scenarios, only in Standard, or Free Roam. If that doesn't help, please report back, and we'll dig a bit deeper.

Hello, First of all I would like to say thank you for helping me out! I realised it was old install I chosen and I have uninstalled and installed "Easy version & Hot Fix" as instructed and it does show up on PM "District Route" on the left. I then opened up Train Simulator and still no luck and yes I do own all three routes - IOW, London - Brighton and original Padd - Oxford.

It's actually labelled "London Underground District Line". If it doesn't show, try finding it in the scenario editor and create a test scenario.

OK, next thing to do is to browse to your Railworks folder and look for the route in the Contents folder. Our route has the following designation. df59cee1-b6b9-4fd5-96ba-1f3437fo8a15. If you can find it there, then it is installed properly. First clear the cache.......... always an important point. Open up TS and select Standard Scenarios. Our route is usually right below the London to Brighton one.
As Darren so rightly pointed out it is called London Underground District Line. ie NOT District Route.

Yes all file seems to be in place and you're right the folder on Packager is called "London Underground District Line" but Package Manager it's called "Districtline". I've cleared the cache and still no luck? :-(

Hmm......... well I'm pretty much out of ideas now. How many routes have you got installed in TS ? Have you ever done a file integrity check on Steam to make sure TS is complete and not missing any files ? If any other team member has any ideas, please chip in and try to diagnose?
One very important point has just occurred to me. Please make sure an antivirus program you've got installed is disabled whilst you are installing/ downloading or running TS. I'd recommend excluding the Steam folder and all sub folders in your antivirus exclusions. Our route has many thousands of textures in it and antivirus programs often see those as a threat and stop them loading, or downloading.

In total I've got 15 routes installed. I ran through integrity check and it came back 6 files error and will reacquire them after that I've uninstalled them and disabled the antivirus and installed the route and still no luck. I might uninstall Train simulator and reinstall while I keep the antivirus off and see if it makes any difference?

I suggest you try simple things first rather than nuke and backfill the world. Please try the following and report back results:
Check the folder .../Railworks/Content/Routes and make sure the folder begining "df59cee1-" is there. That's the District route folder.
Check teh folder .../Railworks/Assets and make sure the folder "VirtualDistrictTeam" is there. That folder should contain andother folder named "London Underground District Line".
If the above are present, then Start TS and click BUILD then click the SCENARIOS tab at the top. Scroll down to find the District Line route - it should be just under London-Brighton.
If present, click on the District Line entry. There should be a bunch of free roam and other scenarios listed.
Please report back your findings to this point and we'll diagnose from there....
Best, Jimi

Again, the folders seems to be in place but cannot see them on the game, 'London Transport Heritage (Fictional)' is below 'London - Brighton'. I do notice that this route isn't the only thing I cannot see in the game, I've tried to add other things such as 'LTE Wimbeldon' other reskin for HST, DMU, EMU, etc. and none of them seem to appear in the game.

OK, if you have issues with other things then a full remove and re-install of the sim may be the best solution. I would also suggest you check things after each route or other item install to make sure it works. Also please install any other routes required by District before installing the District. Please let us know how it goes, and we are still here to help you.

I have uninstalled Train simulator 2019 via steam and installed. Uninstall routes and reinstall the routes. I've checked the files and they're still in place and I've checked the routes required for this District Line. - IOW - London to Brighton - Oxford to Padd. I've cleared the cache. Still stuck in the same position.

YIPPEE! I got it to work! Now what I've done is I've installed Steam onto my External Harddrive so I thought what if I uninstalled Train simulator and Install into a separate folder but onto my computer harddrive, and install all the routes required then District Line and clear the cache. Voila it works! I cannot thank you enough for those who helped me! I now look forward to drive this route! :-D

Sounds like you had the core game installed on your external hard drive but your add-ons installed to where it would expect to find trainsimulator on your C: drive. Glad you got it sorted.

Yes, well done there. I always have Steam installed on my PC's internal hard drive myself, outside of the program files folders. Best to keep it simple or things do go awol otherwise. Just a little reminder before you jump in. Print off the D78 Text document with all the key commands, you will need it. and don't forget to set your scenery detail to maximum or some objects won't display.

Good to hear! I think we can close this thread, although we'd be interested to hear how you get on driving the trains. Take note of Eddie's suggestion that you print off a copy of the key commands...

I'm really glad to hear that good news. Keep your eyes peeled on these boards for news of our next update which will really keep you hooked on driving the District. Tons of features included. Track upgrade, signals upgrade, scenery fixes galore, 9 brand new stations, extra portals, another new stock train to drive, and many new scenarios and upgraded older ones.
