Here is the first station on the Circle Line which I placed tonight after Richard uploaded his work on this section of the route. Bare of furniture and other necessary objects at the moment, you can see the atmospheric lighting and detail. This is some of Richard's finest work in my humble opinion. ..................................... he's really nailed the feel of the place. 20190319211313_1 by Dr_ Eddie, on Flickr

More news folks. Richard has now put the finishing touches to Bayswater and I will be placing this new station into the route shortly, probably tomorrow. Once again I will post the screenshots here for your perusal.

Firstly, a couple of screenshots of Notting Hill Gate again, after Richard made some tweaks to the model. These show some more detail at the end of the east bound platform which was not that visible in the earlier grab. 20190329182453_1 by Dr_ Eddie, on Flickr 20190329182314_1 by Dr_ Eddie, on Flickr And now Bayswater, which confusingly for the public is halfway down Queensway. Whilst Queensway Station ( Central Line ), is in Bayswater Road, at the top of Queensway. As a London cabbie I encountered many problems with this confusion, over the course of 35 years, so I'm glad to say it's in the right place on this route. 20190329181819_1 by Dr_ Eddie, on Flickr 20190329181631_1 by Dr_ Eddie, on Flickr 20190329181724_1 by Dr_ Eddie, on Flickr 20190329181925_1 by Dr_ Eddie, on Flickr Once again, bare bones, no furniture yet. The lighting here is more artificial, with less natural daylight coming through, but the character of this station is unmistakeable, and Richard has really captured the feel of the place again, to an extremely high standard. Brilliant work. It doesn't need a lot of imagination to envisage a C-Stock train thundering into this station..............

We have another new station on the network now. Richard has sent me Paddington and I've just placed it in the route. Here is a first bare bones view........... the lamps will be added to the model with the next station update. 20190509235037_1 by Dr_ Eddie, on Flickr

Beautiful! Gives off a proper C Stock Vibe!, Quick Question. Does the C Stock have interior lighting?

Of course saloon lights are provided and they are controlled by cab switches. The lighting may not be highly visible in tunnels with occlusions when viewed from outside the train ( which is presumably why you are asking )> Rest assured the C-Stock is one of our most functional stocks in the way of electrical systems. It took us many, many hours of wiring up to get everything working correctly.

So, and I know that I'm going to be told to (rightfully!) shut up here, but does this work mean we are within months of release?

Not much left on the rolling stock side to do. Scenarios have to be finalised, documentation writing completed and then just testing everything to make sure we haven't missed any bugs.

And then hopefully packaged into one installer that will do all the installation for you.

Yes, this time around we will use one installer which will overwrite any older version you might have. We want to avoid any repetition of the arcane installing routines that left people without half the scenery or track missing. One thing to be aware of is that any scenarios you might have created will be overwritten, so be advised that you may want to copy those across. They may work, if the track you are using hasn't changed much, but we found the extended route broke most of our old scenarios.
