Weekend before last,
1. keyboard started "sticking", one key repeating.
2. keyboard accepted no input. OK on reboot. Same after changing k/board.
Thursday
3. computer shut down. OK on reboot.
4. ditto.
5. computer died.
6. change PSU. Computer still dead.
Friday
7. new mobo & processor. (and monitor, but that was a treat) - mobo is Gigabyte Z87-D3HP-CF, Processor 3.40 gigahertz Intel Core i3-4130.
Tried using Laplink PCmover Image & Drive Assistant to save reinstalling programs. It works OK for some, but not TS 2014 or others.
Evening,
8. time for tea, microwave dies! It's only a month old.
Sat morning.
9. return m/w to shop. Can't do anything until Monday.
10. Computer keeps crashing - several BSODs a day.
Monday
11. m/w discontinued, replaced with different model at same price (it's a tad physically smaller which suits)
12. fed up with crashes, upgrade reinstall.
Tuesday.
13. Still crashing. clean re-install. fingers crossed.
All I've got to do now, is to re-install TS and the VDL, and other bits and pieces.

Feel for you mate, that was me 3 months ago. Needed a new PS, Hard Drive, plus mobo and graphics card to fix. Took me nearly two weeks to reinstall Windows, find my router passcode, reinstall Norton, drivers, get email working again, answer 200 emails that had been waiting..................
And I thought computers were supposed to save time, silly billy.
Have a good Xmas and a Happy New Year and the same to all the team too.

Just to add to the fun.
The new installation was giving me several BSODs a day, despite a clean reinstall.
So the computer has gone to the shop for them to sort out.
Someone somewhere has it in for me this week.
On a brighter note, I got a payout of expenses of almost £140 after getting a refund from the vendor 'cos they screwed up plus some mileage expenses.
