No changes to the trains except for C-Stock development and some other heritage stock in development. :-) let me guess R Stock? Q Stock? 59 Stock? 38 Stock? O Stock? P Stock?

Is it related to the steam engine that Backdated TrainSim teased?

Is it related to the steam engine that Backdated TrainSim teased? Not me I'm afraid. That's a completely different project.

I don't think Eddie will confirm any guesses until there is something to show of it.

Quite so, all I know is that Richard has hinted he is working on a heritage stock at the moment, because JT's forthcoming S7/8 stock has freed his time up. No sense in duplicating train stock, when I know more or see more Richard will likely send me a grab, and I'll post on here.

Apart from stock, work is going well on the Edgware Road extension. All the track has been laid, tested, signalled, and occlusions added to tunnelled areas. The tunnel objects have been added and scenery items at the Edgware Road terminus have been put in. Richard is busy building Wimbledon station and Centre Court shopping centre at the moment.
I'll next be heading back to Putney to start adding the viaducts and embankments, which will involve some terrain manipulation. After I'm happy with the trackside infrastructure ( like cabling etc ) I'll start adding houses, roads, bridges and trees. When I have something to show you, I'll post it on here.

Here is a development shot of one of the vent areas on the way to Edgware Road part of the Circle line. The oldest part of the network by far. These vent areas were designed to lessen the smoke ingress into the carriages by regularly venting it into the atmosphere, when the trains were being pulled by Steam locomotive. 20180815212236_1 by Dr_ Eddie, on Flickr

I've nearly got the scenery to East Putney station now, thousands of objects just to get this far. Here is a screenshot to give you an idea of the level of detail.............. 20180827005940_1 by Dr_ Eddie, on Flickr

Hi! Will the WB platform length problems at Ravenscourt Park be solved in the next update or will it remain as it is? Thank you!

I intend to go right through the entire route before the next update to iron out the bugs which shipped with it. This is top of the list at the moment. It's easy to forget that I only released an alpha version of the route in order to get it out there and see if it could sink or swim on its unfinished merits. Now the whole team plus a skilled new member is aboard we intend to polish up the rough edges so it will meet not only your expectations, but ours as well. Ravenscourt Park will no longer frustrate you in this respect...................

We don't mind criticism, by the way, this was a valid criticism of the westbound platforms at RPK and it's been fixed because it was brought to my attention. The next version of the route features are very rich in detail. The upgrade will surprise many of you by its scope. Some of the features on offer are : 1. Entirely new track which is 3D and extremely realistic in appearance but also featuring our own custom textured conductor rails. 2. Prototypical LU signalling system which has fixed a lot of pathing and scenario creation bugs. Each signal whose function is replicated in the real world ( circa 2008 ) is placed exactly as it's real world counterpart including number plate identification, so a real world train operator would recognise the cabin code for each signal. 3. Accurate gradient information, used wherever it is possible within the scope of route building and track laying. 4. New C-Stock train with 3D cab modelled by Darren our expert cab modeller and input mapper / script tecnician. Physics will be hammered out and systems recreated by Jimi our own Mr Fixit who can turn his hand to just about anything that London Transport had a roundel on. He has books on the subject of electric motors by a Mr Agnew I believe, so getting the physics right is a subject he believes in adamantly. 5. Extended trackwork and scenery to Wimbledon from Putney Bridge, and Edgware Road from High St. Kensington. Yes, we are now officially UNDERGROUND in the tunnels built over 150 years ago using the process called cut and cover.
So plenty to look forward to.

Ed - with the platform getting extended, please add to the fix-it list that I move the RPK WB slow and fast home signals back in rear a little when we do the track walk. Likely back to the start of the bridge abutment might do, but we should check. Thx!
