Hand-drawn strip map of the Piccadilly Line for the 1938 Stock; I'll post the textures as a package when they are complete. The map is created in the style of the 1960's, and the line stops at Hounslow West; the Aldwych shuttle is still running and Finsbury Park interchanges only with BR. Victoria Line? What's that? I'd place this around '63-'65 - but if anyone spots inaccuracies in the rendition please let me know!

Thanks Eddie, I've now amended the other internal textures (the maps in the end bays are now Piccadilly Line too), sadly the texture is mirrored so only one side looks ok.....
I need to do the internal texture that is viewed from the exterior of the train and once I'm happy with the whole thing I'll see if it can be hosted on the Backdated Train Sim site.

Have you done a set of destination boards for the front of the train as well?

Lovely work, How about the 1960's Bakerloo for when Xavier back dates the Met to Aylesbury? LOL

There is the Bakerloo Line in WCML(S) v5.2 on the Alan Thomson site - once I have completed the Piccadilly version I will 'do' Bakerloo Line maps........... Watford Junction rush-hour service included!

Thanks for even considering the Met Xavier! I would love to see that. I have been messing around with JT's version but my skills are poor at best. Liverpool street is one complete building, so trying to put the reversing siding in for the Met locos is a complete rebuild. Rickmansworth is fairly easy to do after removing Sainsburys and the new sidings. Looking forwad to the Bakerloo Interior. All the best trabantdave!

I am anticipating completing the Piccadilly stuff within the next couple of days and have been looking at the Bakerloo options - I'm looking at early to mid 1970's as that is the period during which the Bakerloo was at its greatest extent, before the Jubilee took over the Stanmore branch. Possibly also the late 70's version post-Jubilee but while the Bakerloo still ran to Watford Junction.
I've found sufficient research material to do both types, and as I have a few days off from work (recovering from surgery) I may as well occupy the time usefully!

I've hit a slight snag with applying the Piccadilly Line to the 1938 stock as I have not been able to locate the correct headcodes for the Picc; until I do, I have put it on one side and have started on the Bakerloo stuff - I'm working on the carriage map and have the headcode light codes too - including the Stanmore branch! The strip map has the Stanmore section and the whole map should be a pretty close representation of an early 70's map; I'll post some WIP shots tomorrow. I've also found the location of the destination plates so these can be edited too!

That's the Bakerloo strip as it stands; I need to move some stations along to even things up a little, but so far, so good.
The roundel is done too

Excellent work. You ought to contact Alex55 who is the route builder of WCML5 which features the Bakerloo Line. This is one mod I bet he'll be interested in.
