Here is a thread to discuss which features you would like to see come to the Virtual District in the next planned updates. If there is a consensus over any features you consider important then we will endeavour to bring that about.
Please keep your suggestions realistic though, we are working within the limits of TS remember.
Over to you guys and gals.

Just to add a touch more context, so someone doesn't immediately reply "Upminster" :-)
Phase III is actually underway, as we have extended tracks from GRD to South Ken in prep for the next big build to Tower Hill and later to Aldgate/Whitechapel. So that section of route is already a given. V2.2 (to be released shortly) provides that connection from GRD, so existing scenarios involving GRD will still work while we extend the S Circle.
So in suggesting a further route location, please consider we have to be able to reasonably reach it from a current end-of-track. Examples might be:
Extend from ERD around to Aldgate, completing the Circle, and/or from ERD around the H&C metals to HAM. We are hesitant about these right now, as we're waiting to see JT's plans for their next big dig.
Another possible is to extend the Picc. Maybe more deep tube through the city. Maybe from N Ealing to Rayners, maybe through Osterly to Northfields Dpt (the Picc needs a depot). Despite our main focus on the "fish and parcels" it would be good to drive the 73 a decent way.
As regards stocks, we have an R49 in the workshop that runs as a proof of concept, but still needs detailed physics, cab, controls, etc. A 59TS might be good, as there's already something of a 38TS. What else would fit?
More scenarios? More scenario features? What would help or inspire YOU to create scenarios?
Ideas welcome, but please consider there are things we can reach/do in the near term, and things that we may get to in time.

I'd love to see some more of the Piccadilly Line on the route. maybe down to Heathrow? I think it could be quite cool and several scenarios could be made using the basis of taking people to the city from the airport and then back again. But it is quite a way to go! Despite the JustTrains Metropolitan Line route already including the "top" of the circle around Zone 1, it would be nice to see them added in, if from a scenario aspect more than anything else, as having to make two scenarios on two routes is much more work than it needs be just to complete a round-trip of the Circle. In terms of stock, maybe the A Stock would fit? I haven't been keeping up-to-date on the VDL recently, though, so I don't know if this has already been suggested. This would only really work if the Circle Line was extended round from Edgware Road to Aldgate, as suggested, as the Metropolitan Line features heavily on that section of line and therefore having a few A Stock units going around to fit in with the D Stock and C Stock which is already present for the VDL route. Hope this is at all helpful, -Peter (P.S. Reading this about Phase 3 is making me want to get driving on the VDL again now - I haven't done so in such a long time!)

Extending the piccadilly to the original Hounslow west, would provide for scenarios for the R49, Standard, 1938, and if built the 59 tube stock. Northfields Depot would be able to provide homes for almost all the older tube stock. This of course was originally District territory. So keeping you true to original ideals. All the best, Mike.

Hi Team,
First of all, well done on producing such a fantastic route!
I’d love to see either the District extended to Mansion House or the Piccadilly from Northfields to King’s Cross (I think King’s Cross is the first turnback point ‘in the pipe’), including the Holborn-Aldwych branch.
There are also some very useful Piccadilly line driver’s eye view videos on YouTube - look for the user LDN_OvrGrd.
These videos show signal numbers, speed restrictions and other useful information. Hope they prove useful.
Thanks
All the best
Johnny

As I am not from the UK (infact I am an Aussie) I don't really know the routes that well so can't say much on them; But with that being said, I personally think a Q23 would look quite nice along the R49 since these both ran on the District line at around the same time and some later Q stock (Q38 if I am correct) trailers were converted to be used on the R stock trains

Once the District is finished I would LOVE to see the Circle/H&C, but completely understand you wanting to wait and see if anything happens on that front from someone else (JT). So I'll echo others, it would be awesome to have more Piccadilly to give a good run of tube. Also as mentioned A Stock for some good pre-S Stock Met running would be fantastic. I've been fudging it so far using C Stock. At this point though I'm happy with basically ant LU content. Keep up the brilliant work, you are doing a fantastic job!

Oh thanks, sadly I had to give up on YT thanks to baseless copyright strikes. I'm going to be streaming the VDL on Friday as I wind down my Twitch channel. If I could livestream nothing but LU stuff I'd probably keep going a while longer to be honest. Really glad to see the new scenario pack released, I'll definitely be buying that ASAP!
Edit: Having played one of the new scenarios I'm reconsidering giving up streaming.

I’d vote for the Piccadilly through central London. That would really complete the experience - deep tube, cut and cover, and open running.
The work thus far is exceptional. I have waited decades for this level of realism. Thank-you!

Thanks for making this thread here are some of the things I would love to see Piccadilly Line extending towards Heathrow, going back and maybe revamping some sounds ie motors, maybe new corporate liveries and texture up-scaling as I feel the low resolution of textures makes the VDL seem outdated by todays standards, this only affected the exterior models as the cabs are very nice Super Elevation on Track, Why you may ask? Super Elevation is ever on the Underground and is a standard on most new routes made to date and is everywhere on the LU Network Redone D78 Stock Exterior Model, The Current Model is inaccurate and too short to real life compared to the C Stock Model, renaming the in game consists for more inexperienced players who might not know what DM or UNDM means such as LTC69DM to C69/77 Stock or London Underground C Stock with in game photos instead of real photos of the trains New End of Platform Gate Designs as they vary across the newtork higher and more accurate / realistic textures on models as station like Hammersmith could be improved
