Hi All Not sure if this is the right part of the forum to ask this but is there a good tutorial anywhere on scenario creation? I’ve searched around mainly on YouTube but can’t really find anything that useful... there are a few out there but none that I’ve found very useful... Thanks for any help Kind regards Alan

Perfectly valid in this forum, especially if the [hoped for] flood of replies and discussion help you and others to create VD scenarios! I'll dig around to see what I have, and from experience I believe Ed has a bunch of tips. Sadly this is one area of VDL we haven't seen to grow. While the route certainly appears to be popular, there's few folks creating scenarios. And QuickDrive is OK, but can't really provide that magic bit of operational realism, or surprise that a custom written scenario does. EDIT: See the related thread HERE

There are a few very basic ones out there. Learning to use the Scenario Editor to create scenarios is a huge subject. You could probably fill an Encyclopaedia size book about it. What is it you are having difficulty with ? There is a lot of useful information on the UKTS forums. We may be able to point you in the right direction. It can be an awful lot of work to create just one working scenario. The 6 T/Op Man EC pack we put out took Jimi and myself 3 months to write, test, debug etc. We had to do some route editing to get them to work properly as well. Some routes are just badly set up for scenarios to work properly. Its a huge subject Alan. EDIT: See the related thread HERE

Thanks for raining on my parade Eddie!! :-) I’ve literally just got into Train Sim very recently so haven’t played around with any of the building tools so am a total novice... Just seen the start of the other thread so I’ll be following that with keen interest and hopefully building along with you :-) Many thanks for the replies Stay safe Alan
