Great work on the route so far. Hopefully once I get the AI issue sorted at Acton, I can pump out a few scenarios. There will be more documentation to come for scenario builders as Jimi is now back on the case and is busy interrogating the kit I uploaded for integrity. One issue you might have at Acton is that the despatcher will try to take the shortest route between Acton Town and Ealing Common. This means he will try and route trains through Ealing Common Depot. We know about this issue and fresh documentation should include a work around. This is a TS issue. Don't waste too much time on your own. |

Hi Dave - I replied on UKTS also. Check you have the VirtualDistrictTeam assets folder in place. The files for the juice rails are in there. You may need to re-visit Ed's dropbox as I know he updated some contents and added files that were initially missing. Sorry for this - our bad. We will help you make it all work.

Ok thanks for the reply I managed to sort it I misread the instructions and put the VitruelDistrictteam folder in the main Railworks folder instead of the Railworks/Assets folder, I had a feeling it was something I had done wrong, I can happily report all the rails and the correct speed limits are showing properly now.

At Olympia the NR tracks have not got 3rd rail ..................yet. That was on the wishlist one day though and maybe it will need to be done in the next release. As for Portals at Baron's Court, you may need to go underground with the camera to see the portal, but I'm sure its there . If I'm wrong the Piccers trains on AI might start from Barons Court Sidings. I'm not a scenario creator myself , but I'll add it to the wishlist for the next release. |

Thank you to everyone who was involved in making this as I think its some incredible work and such a shame those involved seem to have disbanded somewhat. If the project can be re-ignited with new blood that would be incredible.
I have even managed to get the newly released 1938 Stock running on the route!

Although things did go quiet we haven't disbanded at all actually (in fact the enthusiasm of people seeing the route at last has inspired us).
There is a core of 4 of us who did the majority of the work (albeit with excellent advice from LT Professionals to keep us 'on track') and we are talking again about what to do next. We do have lives in the 'real' world and limited time, but will see where it can go next. Understand though that this is time consuming. It took us six or seven years or more to get to this stage. Going to Wimbledon will probably take the rest of the year.
So I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a route all the way to Upminster!

As Ed noted, you could use Barons Count sidings right now to introduce a 73TS (or reverse an EB train) at that end of the line. I use those sidings extensively in one of the test scenarios in the route. However, it would be great to see 73TS disappear into the "pipe", so my desire is to extend east to Earls Court Picc maybe, and also to west to Northfields Dpt and maybe north beyond Ealing to Rayners Lane. Those 3 would be useful "end" points to introduce traffic into the Picc system and also for reversing (with appropriate reversing track hidden at ECT). Thanks for the idea! |

I'm really enjoying using this route - I was just wondering with the D78 and 1973 Stock cabs, I am unable to click and drag the traction break controllers (but can operate with my keyboard) just checking that this is normal?

Yes, that's normal - only a few controls were mouse enabled and we have work to do to clean all that up. We recommend using the F3 (not F4) display view and using the keyboard for all controls.

Firstly, a big well done to all involved! Really enjoying the high quality route you have blessed us with!
Just one question, and probably something quiet simple I have over-read - with regards to the train desto...is there a way to change them as you reach each desto?

Thanks guys. It really means a lot to us that you LUL fans are enjoying this so much. We just had to get it out there, even though it is hardly the full route. Enough to get your teeth into at least. I'm derailing on the Signals Test B6 - LIL HSK PBY GRD. Almost as soon as I depart PBY I derail. About half of the first car is out of the platform and then I derail. I can't see a way to change any points whilst sat in the platform before departing. Where am I going wrong?

Hi! There are some suggestions for the WIP Route fix: - Ealing Common platforms 1 and 2 should be bi-directional, as signalling allows for such moves to take place (that is, a Westbound train to reverse into depot from platform 1 or a train from depot going into platform 2).
- I think there are too many signals in the approach to Richmond. If I'm not wrong, GB17 (https://www.flickr.com/photos/stephenpoole/6803451230/) acts as home signal and there aren't any others after that. There is also a shunt signal on the eastbound road. This may be the case too at other terminus.

Aren't you supposed to use the limit of shunt on the bridge to reverse the train ? that one for the derail query.
The signals at Richmond aren't accurately modelled as in the real world because of the way TS handles signal blocks at a terminus.
We had to do a blacksmith job to get signal blocks cleared by a departing AI train.
