Hi! There are some suggestions for the WIP Route fix: - Ealing Common platforms 1 and 2 should be bi-directional, as signalling allows for such moves to take place (that is, a Westbound train to reverse into depot from platform 1 or a train from depot going into platform 2).
- I think there are too many signals in the approach to Richmond. If I'm not wrong, GB17 (https://www.flickr.com/photos/stephenpoole/6803451230/) acts as home signal and there aren't any others after that. There is also a shunt signal on the eastbound road. This may be the case too at other terminus.
There isn't a WIP Route Fix right now, however we are compiling a lit of things to fix, assessing difficulty, complexity and priority, etc. Yes, ECM should be bi-directional although I'm not aware of a limit of shunt on the WB. You'd have to pull ahead maybe 1 car to clear the points and shunt signal.I did put in a shunt disc controlling access wrong-road off the WB. There's also a shunt/theater on WB exit from the depot allowing access wrong road onto the EB. It should all work, unless I wrongly set the track directionality in the platform area- which is possible. I'll add that to the bug check list. Thanks! Yes, the approach to RMD is not prototypical. I was experimenting with adding signals part way to effectively add blocks/sections to allow trains to pull up closer to the signal box. What should happen is on approach to the outer home, there is a speed inductor that clears it (assuming block clear ahead all the way to the platform!) if speed is reduced to 20 IIRC. On passage the outer home will stay red until the train is berthed in the platform. Note there are no visible home signals at the platform, but there must be track circuits that detect train passage into the platform. My usual way of mimicing that is to bury an auto signal to create the block / track circuit so the buried auto can tell the signal (outer home) in rear "block clear". Else the outer home can not clear for trains into the other platforms. So I'm still working on that section to try to make it prototypical in operation and appearance. Good catch. No idea as to the derail coming off the PBR bay road. (Ed, one scenario uses the bay, and one used to do the on-the-bridge wrong-road reverse). That suggests a points issue. Is the starter clear? I'm guessing yes, else you'd SPAD. I've never personally had an issue but will investigate. Thanks, Jimi

I checked in the Route Editor the tracks at Ealing Common and they are unidirectional. I detected that because I'm creating a scenario for the route based on the WTT 142. The idea is to drive the last trips of Train 050. By using the WTT, I added the AI trains, and one of those reverses at ECM1 into depot instead of going all the way to EBY! Actually, in my scenario it goes all the way to EBY7 and back, but would be nice to have it reverse in the correct place.
Thanks!

You should also be able to reverse wrong road off ACT EB slow up the bank into the depot. I recall putting a shunt sig on the "wrong end" of the platform, and the east depot road and sidings are signaled for a WB move. Very rare move but possible.

Hi Guys, Just wanted to say what a fantastic route. It looks soo realistic and I love the D Stock! One problem I am experiencing though, the 4sub.rwp file is corrupt in the dropbox folder and the RailWorks importer wont let me import the files from it, no matter what I try. I have even tried downloading the UKTS file (26609) suggested and it is still missing some components which wont let me do any of the scenarios at Lillie Bridge. Can anybody help?

I'm sure Ed can help by putting a revised 4sub file in the dropbox. Can you tel me the exact errors you're seeing when trying the Lillie Bridge scenarios? I suspect you have the battery loco and/or turbots missing but knowing the exact error will help us guide you to a solution.
Best, Jimi

I'm surprised the 4Sub from Uktrainsim isn't working, as that file has been there 3 or 4 years and hasn't as far as I know caused problems. Unless, that is, an upgrade to TS has caused something to stop working.
Have you tried completely uninstalling the 4Sub rwp and then installing again from the UKTrainsim download?

Thanks for the responses guys.. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything as well and am still presented with the following errors at Lille Bridge.
Scenario Failed To Load: Consists Builder - can't load rail vehicle - Kbs Container Flat Broken Consists - Modified -
The UKTS 4sub is working but the scenario still presents the above error. Any ideas?

Thanks, that will help us figure it out. It appears you are missing an item of stock (KBS Container Flat), possibly the Turbot. We will diagnose and let you know ASAP.

UPDATE: I have been able to get around the error screen by pressing F2 and pressing no to saving game progress. Seems like a quick workaround to the problem and it let me play the full scenario afterwards. I am guessing there is still a error somewhere but that is a quick fix just incase anybody else is having the same problem.

The KBS container flat is a european wagon, probably the Kuju variant. If you are a relative newcomer to TS you might not have the European asset pack. There are also more than a few repaints for this wagon. You should be able to replace this wagon with RWTools easily enough.

Great info - thanks! Now I recall we do have one or more sitting in Lllie Bridge over on the right side as you enter, as part of some busywork scenery; and your comment re the Euro Asset pack I feel is spot on. Almost certainly where we found it. Many thanks for helping solve this one!

You can if you want but the installer removes the old installation anyway.
