This thread will be a resource for followers of the Virtual District to upload links to any scenarios they create. I, myself have started to learn how to use the Scenario Editor and have created a scenario that folk may be interested to try out. It will be topical, but fictional as well. If you enjoy it, I will create further ones as well. Feedback is always welcome so if you have any comments please add them here. I will lock the thread as a sticky , so it doesn't die down the page. I am still testing my scenario to see how it may work out for users, so keep your eyes peeled for a download link in due course.

1938 Stock Railtour. You will need to own the London Transport Heritage Collection for this to load and run. OK, bear in mind this is my first effort and the signalling is pushed to its limit. Here is the link: www.dropbox.com/sh/f93excq0932qv3b/AAC538JnlNJP5-Ktk_gSRKyha?dl=0Download everything into a temporary folder on your desktop, install the two RWP's and place the folder d94 etc into the scenario folder of the District Line route which is the d59 folder in Routes. It can now be found as a Standard scenario in your London Underground District Line installation. Hope you enjoy it, covers a fair bit of ground.

Some good news for all District Line users. Since we released our route I have been approached by Trains and Drivers to help them out with beta testing their UK route scenarios which meant joining their beta team. As a result of that I've been in close contact with their chief UK scenario developer who is also an enthusiastic District driver. He has taught me how to add next station announcements into our route scenarios. This really does work extremely well and raises the bar considerably. It has involved me, much more, in scenario building, which I really do enjoy despite the glitches that the dispatcher throws at you. All of you on here probably understand that very well. What I intend to do is to upgrade all the scenarios that ship with the route to add audio announcements, plus the few that other users have posted links to in other threads and bring them all into one place here as a complete RW package which you can download. Be warned it will be a sizeable file because the audio files although not huge make the files much larger. If any of you who have posted links on here do not wish to have their scenarios altered please post your objections here. If none are forthcoming, I will assume you are all happy for this to happen. With that in mind, here is a relatively small scenario for you all to try out. www.dropbox.com/sh/qjquv8g2u0ad5z4/AADqjH5zmRAXwQuM_EsveiRqa?dl=0Please, please.......... post some sort of feedback, just silence on here is very demoralising.

Since my grandchild is here the weekend, I can't try it yet. But First of all I would compliment you with your work. It is Great. Plz go on with it. I enjoy it very much. To me (starter in the trainsimulator) all this is more or less higher science. But as a 16y old boy I came to London for korfbalcompetition in Tooting Bec and rode the Line. Much later I visited with my wife Kew Gardens. Thx for your dedication.. Paul NL-Pijnacker

It is a good idea. However, the quality of the announcements doesn't help. If the original announcements cannot be used for whatever reason, then maybe another TTS system could be used. I've tested this one and doesn't sound that bad: www.fromtexttospeech.com/ with this text: Nevertheless, thanks for your hard work!

The ideal is to use actual recordings from the real train, but this is fraught with all sorts of problems, being that background sounds like track and passenger chatting is also recorded which degrades the audio. The quality of audio has to be a format that TS can use and it seems that 22,050khz 16 bit stereo PCM is ideal here. So far, the program and voice I have used here is the best that I have tested , but if you think you have better audio files for this please share them on here. Each file needs to be as small as possible that complies with the above format. Thanks for the feedback. I am using the TTS program that T&D use called Balabolka which I've found to be excellent. You can try it out here, it is free. www.cross-plus-a.com/balabolka.htm

Good morning everybody and staff! so ive been reading the forums regarding the scenarios being made for new/updated district line route, now my question when creating a time table for AI trains, is there feature where the AI repeats the instructions giving to it, for example, i want my AI train to make stops from A to Z from Z to A and so on creating an endless loop just in real life where trains begin and terminate service at stations endlessly. and then there's the subject of portals..quite curious about that

And there would be no point since if you're driving a train in a scenario, it will be only one journey and so you'd only see a particular AI train probably once or twice at most.

Hmm, yea you do have a point there...well maybe a 2 full round journeys with AI going back n forth. and how about a train spotting scenario where you just watch trains for bout 30 to 60 mins lol. just throwing some ideas out in the air

I've had an idea to fire you guys up. How about from October 1st ( phase 2 will have been out a while by then ) we have a Scenario Of The Month competition ? The only rules being you can only use the stock provided with the route. No 3rd party content apart from the JT S8/7 car District Reskin available on ATS. That will stop all the DLC errors.
The team will judge the best scenario and the results announced at the end of each month in a separate thread created for the purpose. What do you all think ?

By limiting the amount of stock which can be used, you are making it easier for everyone to just make scenarios and enjoy them. Good idea! -Peter

Very nice indeed Aryan, Jimi is running it right now. So this is the first scenario to be entered in the October Scenario of the Month competition. I'll start a new thread right away and copy the link to your scenario over to there. Winning scenarios, First, second and third places will make it into the official update patch that will ship at some stage in the future. Well done, indeed.

Nicely done Aryan. It works well and is believable - felt to me like a wet Sunday somehow. Not too much traffic, but enough to make it interesting. I was 5 early into the final station, without speeding :-)
