The Virtual District Team exhibited our Phase 2 version of the VDL today at the LT Museum. The stand was very busy all day with enthralled youngsters who patiently waited in a long queue to operate a District or Piccadilly Line train. We met a number of enthusiasts who had downloaded our route already. Others had seen it on You Tube. We first started work on this 12 years ago, so it was a milestone for the Team.
Whilst youngsters trained on the D Stock, Darren was building the next version of the D-Stock cab. It looked tremendous, a huge step up in realism.
For those interested in the specs of the rig I brought along to run the route ( some people wanted to know )
