Can’t believe I put off getting this for so long.
Finally downloaded and installed last night; what can I say - it’s a magnificent work of art both the route and the fantastic LT stock pack that accompanies it. Already loving the R49 if it took me a few minutes to figure out how to get moving.
I started with the R49 Railtour - just wondering from those who have run it whether the starting signal at Ealing Broadway on the first leg eventually clears for departure? It wouldn’t for me and while the signaller authorised me to Tab past the session ended abruptly with a SPAD. Will try again later.
Is this possibly a route (like the Wycombe one) where it is better to run with SPAD's disabled.
Anyway thanks and appreciation to all involved with producing this masterpiece, which puts many TSC and TSW payware DLC to shame.
Edit: No issues with the signal at EB on the second attempt. Fantastic!

Delighted to hear you're enjoying it Vern. Don't hesitate to ask questions if needed, or provide critique and feedback.
There's more to come...

Really pleased to hear that. Will be great to (eventually) head all the way from Upminster to Richmond or EB in the R49.
If I could make one *tiny* suggestion, it's that the timetables seem a bit tight. I broke off the Railtour to do a lower Circle run. Departed 2' late after figuring out how to power up the C69 but never made time up so failed the scenario. I wonder if it's possible to ease the parameters whereby you fail the objective?

I wouldn't worry too much about the timetable Vern, we never coded the way TS handles speed limits for e,g. on the underground the limit applies as soon as you pass the speed board, whereas TS will penalise you for speeding. Just enjoy driving the train. If you are a few minutes late.............well that is like real life. The Underground rarely runs bang on time. If it did, well a lot of people would be surprised.

It is strange that they have never thought about adding such a feature into TSC as they changed it for TSW bakerloo line. Hello to you as well Eddie long time no see

Hi to you, great to hear from you dstock1985 Ross I believe, and yes, I agree DTG did get speed limit implementation right on the Bakerloo Line. In fact it was possibly the best Underground sim I've ever used.
The Underground is rather poorly covered by TS Classic, and Just Flight remain the only pay ware LUL route providers which is a missed opportunity really as I suspect it would be very popular amongst users.

I've never understood why the London Underground has had so little coverage from the commercial devs, and even less for trams! Whilst I have constructed 7mm scale tram models - including some from scratch - over the years, I've never been able to translate that into the 3d modelling world, which is a shame as it would have been pretty cool to drive a tired old class E/3 along the Victoria Embankment in virtual 1951, into the Kingsway Subway - to emerge into an authentic rendition of Southampton Row....
I still do enjoy that approach into RMD using a mixed silver/red set of R Stock the VDL immensely!
